8600gt the card for the masses..

Well i hv jus been playing on my 8600gt for the past few months,
and u knw wad, d card is jus awsum.


dis is bcoz of many reasons.
cheap bcoz it jus costs arnd 3k or less (i bot it fr 4 bt still its koool) n no high or medium psu requirments. Ne local sick psu dat u hv got wid ur cheap cabinet works koool.
the card runs all games uptill nw on high or medium settings (well it does run GTA4 on low).
its a DX10 card, supports shader model 4, n a lot more shit wich u dnt need.

i had researchd fr buyin a card fr almost a month(i had a budget of 7k),

i startd my research wid an 8600gt.
the most imp thing wich concludd my research ws if u want ne card bettr dan 8600gt u will hv to invest arnd 3k fr a psu along wid the cost of the GPU u want to buy.
dis is definetly not kool fr ne casual budget concious gamer.
n dats hw i endd up wid an 86.

My rig is
c2d 2.2 Ghz
2gb 667 Mhz RAM
8600gt XXX 256 mb ddr3 (ws lucky to get the ddr3 version wen i bot it, hehe)

i hv playd all of dese on 1024 res ( yea yea i jus hv a 15 in crt)

Medium settings
crysis
crysis warhead
yea onli 2 games on medium
see i told u its a gud card.

High settings
cod4 , cod5, dead space,
gears of war,devil may cry 4,
fallout 3, n a lot more...

nw abt the GTA 4 fiasco
u can always blame wad a bad port it is.
bt the point is that the cpu does matter a lot nwdays, a core2duo is also nt sufficient as we can see frm d reqs of gta4 wich demands a quad core cpu fr recommendd settings.

bcoz i jus dnt hv 10k to spend on a GPU,
n yea i do luv my card.
N m stickin to it, til my dad gets convinced to pay me 10k.
